Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Opens New Advising Center

On Wednesday, September 13th, the advising staff at UC Clermont opened its very first Advising Center on the second floor of Student Services. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was officiated by Dean Bauer and was attended by various staff members and students. Cookies and refreshments were provided.

Construction for the Advising Center took place over the summer on the second floor of the Student Services building, room 235. This center is beneficial to students because the advising staff is now in one convenient location.

The Advising Center is a vital asset to the campus and its students because of the hardworking staff that support them. According to advising staff member Nikki Gamm, she loves being an advisor because she gets to “work with students, and see them reach their goals.”

Currently, the spring schedule is out, so students can begin placing classes in their shopping cart for the next semester. Hours for the Advising Center are 8am to 5pm. To contact the Advising Center, call 513-732-5205 or email clermont.advising@uc.edu
