Coffee and Bagels with Dean Bauer

On Wednesday, September 13th, UC Clermont students and faculty were invited to have coffee and bagels with Dean Bauer in the campus library. This was the second gathering with the Dean this semester. This will be a reoccurring event for Clermont; there are several more opportunities to attend during the rest of the semester, and even in the spring semester of 2018.

From 8:00 – 9:05 am, members of the UC Clermont faculty met with the Dean in the library to ask questions and discuss campus events. They talked while enjoying coffee and bagels from Everything Bagels. This provided a perfect opportunity for students and faculty to have an informal conversation with the Dean.

The Dean hopes that these events will provide a way to improve internal communications within UCC and give students and faculty a voice for any campus-related ideas or concerns. This event will also allow the library to serve as a gathering location. The Dean answered questions about enrollment, recruiting and admissions, and what the faculty can do to help improve enrollment rates. The Dean also discussed other ideas like providing coffee on campus.

If you missed it, don’t worry; there are five other meetings just like this one coming up. These meetings will be held in the library on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, October 11th from 8:00 – 9:05 am
  • Wednesday, November 8th from 8:00 – 9:05 am
  • Thursday, January 11th from 8:00 – 9:30 am
  • Wednesday, February 14th from 8:00 – 9:05 am
  • Wednesday, March 7th from 8:00 – 9:05 am

All students and faculty are invited to these gatherings and discuss any of their ideas and ask any questions they might have. We look forward to seeing you there!
