While UC Clermont doesn’t have a literal underground subway, it now has a Subway restaurant where you can grab a sandwich during your study break. The new Subway is located in the Peters-Jones building in the cafeteria near the student lounge, and is open from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Thursday, and until 2:00 pm on Fridays.
Students are very happy with UC Clermont’s decision to open a Subway, and they are offering positive feedback. “The food tastes good,” says Anna O’Dell, a freshman at UC Clermont, “and everything seems clean and updated.” When asked how she would describe the service, she replied with a confident: “fast and friendly.” The employees are very amiable, according to O’Dell. “They’ve been friendly, and willing to work with you when things are out of stock,” she says.
When it comes to the eating habits of college students, convenience is key. The new Subway provides healthy, nourishing food options that you don’t have to leave campus for. Whether you have a ten-minute lunch break or have plenty of time to eat, Subway will suit your needs and nurture your day. Bon appétit!
